September 2016
Friday the 16th of septmber 2016 we had the pleasure to host a conference for the presentation of the book: "Aceite de Oliva Virgen, Saber y Sabor de Extremadura", on the production of olive oil in one of the most beautiful spanish regions, Extremadura. Beside the author, Daniel Martin Vertedor, researcher of the Centre for Science and Technology of Extremadura, many experts and personalities took part in the presentation, in particular Maria Teresa de le Torre Campo, Adjunct Consul of Turism at the Spanish Embassy in Milan. The event was attended also by the Honorary Consul of Spain in Bologna, the lawyer Giovanni Facchinetti Pulazzini.
The presentation was followed by a tasting of some of the best olive oils of Extremadura and an aperitif.
In what follows a little gallery with some photos of the event.

CERVANTES E ALTRE FOLLIE - CERVANTES HALL, LA REGENTA
Friday the 29th of April we hosted the encore performance of the Quartetto Echo's concert "Cervantes e altre follie", based on the compositions of Daniele Salvatore, a teacher of recorder and counterpoint at the conservatory G.B. Martini of Bologna. The event, under the artistic direction of Flora Saki Giordani, harpsichordist of the quartet, included also the reading of poetry pieces composed by some young members of the Centro di Poesia dell'Università di Bologna. It was a great pleasure for us to host one of this series of concerts, sponsored by the Ente del Turismo Spagnolo di Milano, and it represented for us a unique occasion to celebrate the IV centenary of Miguel de Cervantes'death, that falls this year. The link with Cervantes' masterpiece is given by one composition of Daniele Salvatore, "Sognando Dulcinea", inspired by Chapter 10 of the second part of the Don Quijote. During the concert, an excerpt of the chapter was played in italian by the actor Andrea Acciai and read in spanish by our lecturer Goretti Mérida Raposo.
The event was replicated at the Auditorium Manzoni, and, after the premiere, again at the Real Colegio de España in Bologna.
In what follows you may find a gallery with several pics of the event.
